The Mantra 2’S Unique Blade Is Crafted From High-Performance Cpm^® M4 Tool Steel—A Powder Metallurgy Steel Specially Formulated For Toughness, Superior Wear Resistance, And Edge Retention. The Blade’S Narrow, Utilitarian, Drop-Point Profile Is Somewhat Reminiscent Of A Filet Knife, But Is Ideally Suited To A Broad Range Of Cutting Tasks. Although It Includes A Trademark Round Hole™ That Proudly Identifies It As A Spyderco Product, The Mantra 2’S Blade Is Designed Only For Flipper-Style Opening. An Integral Flipper At The Base Of The Blade And Special Ball Bearing Washers In The Pivot Allow The Knife To Be Swiftly And Easily Opened With A Stroke Of The Index Finger Of Either Hand.
